Mineral Point High School

Leo and Donna Yager have been attending wrestling matches for more than 30 years. They have twelve children, all of whom are also involved in the sport. Leo served as an officer of the Mineral Point Wrestling Club during its earliest years.

Some of their sons’ accomplishments include: Mark - State Qualifier, 1977; Mike - Second Place, 1982 and State Champion, 1983; Paul - Second Place, 1982 and State Championship,1987. Greg currently coaches wrestling at Onida High School in South Dakota. 

Their daughters’ Connie, Linda, Patti, Mary Kay, Diane, Corine, Janet and Karen were cheerleaders and/or great supporters of the sport. 

Leo and Donna still attend wrestling matches on Mineral Point as well as around the State watching several grandsons’ compete.
