The Blue Crew is Mineral Point High School’s student-run spirit organization. We are very proud of this group as it has grown tremendously. The Blue Crew started in late 2012 as an organization that aimed to promote school spirit through the student section at Pointer Basketball games. Besides growing to encompass the student sections of Pointer Football, Volleyball, and Wrestling, The Blue Crew has gone on to promote school spirit through Halftime Games, Best Seat in the House, Social Media, and Theme Night Best Dressed Competitions.
To be a member of Blue Crew. students are simply asked to be an active member in the student section by cheering, taking part in theme nights, and ordering “The Shirt” - which will be available to order right after Homecoming.
The Top Dogs in the State
The Blue Crew Student Section has been ranked as one of the Top 25 Football and Basketball Student Sections in the State of Wisconsin by Student Section Report.
Football Rankings: The Blue Crew Football Student Section was ranked 10th in 2022 and 17th in 2023. In the 2023 rankings, we were the highest ranked Division 6 School. We were also ranked higher than every Division 5 school and the 3rd highest ranked student section from a school below Division 2 (Division 4 Marshall and Catholic Memorial).
Basketball Rankings: The Blue Crew Basketball Student Section was ranked 9th in 2024. In the 2024 rankings, we were the highest ranked Division 4 School. There were only 2 Division 4 or 5 Schools to be ranked in the Top 25 (Division 4 Mondovi ranked #25). We were the 2nd highest ranked student section from a school below Division 2 (Division 3 St. Thomas More). |

The Shirt
Since the second year of the Blue Crew Student Section in 2013/2014, Blue Crew Officers have worked to create the an official student section shirt for each season, known as "The Shirt." The Shirt is available to order each year following Homecoming with the goal of welcoming students as members of the Blue Crew Student Section with official apparel.
What We Do
Besides The Shirt, The Blue Crew Officers also lead Best Seat in the House, Blue Crew Halftime Games, and Best Dressed. For more information on the Blue Crew, contact us today!
