Mineral Point High School

Julie was the first Pointer to receive first-team all-conference recognition in girls basketball. She was named to the Southern 8 all-conference first team during the 1975-76 season and received honorable mention all-conference honors in 1976-77. Julie was also a member of the first Mineral Point girls basketball regional championship team in 1977. Julie would go on to play at UW-River Falls, where she earned the Falcon Spirit Award as a senior
