Mineral Point Girls Wrestling Travels to Iowa

The Mineral Point Girls Wrestling Team traveled to a tournament in Elkader, Iowa on Friday, January 10th. The girls wrestled hard and placed 10th out of 22 teams at the 7th Annual Central Girls Invitational. Although up against some tough competition Dealya Collins was a tournament champion in the 135 weight class. Emily Heisner at 190 and Haylee Yager at 235 both took 2nd. Tatum James brought home 8th while Breken Blackford-Hesselberg and Ryley Reichling also participated. Wrestling with different competitors in Iowa gave the girls some new and great competition going into the postseason.
