Harry Ivey, Class of 1935 - Harry helped lead Mineral Point to two straight Southwest Wisconsin League titles, two straight district titles, and back-to-back state tournament appearances.  Harry led the Southwest Wisconsin League in scoring during the 1934-35 season with 80 points in league play.  In 1935, he was named to the Wisconsin State Journal Class B all-state second team and the Associated Press honorable mention Class B all-state team, based on his performance in the state tournament.  

Tom Ivey, Class of 1963 - Tom was a four-year varsity player, which was a rare feat at the time.  He was named special mention all-conference in the Southwest Athletic League during the 1961-62 season and earned second team honors in 1962-63.  At that time, there were only five players named to the first team and twelve teams in the league.  Tom averaged 15.5 points per game as a senior and was also named to the Capital Times' honorable mention all-area team.  

Ron Carey, Class of 1974 - Ron was the point guard on the 1974 WIAA Class C State runner-up team.  During his career, Ron helped to guide the Pointers to two regional titles, one conference title, and one sectional title.  A three-year varsity starter, he was named honorable mention Southern 8 all-conference as a junior and first team as a senior.  Ron was also named 1973-74 Wisconsin Press Association honorable mention all-state.  He scored 742 career points.  

Julie Graber, Class of 1977 - Julie was the first Pointer to receive first-team all-conference recognition in girls basketball.  She was named to the Southern 8 all-conference first team during the 1975-76 season and received honorable mention all-conference honors in 1976-77.  Julie was also a member of the first Mineral Point girls basketball regional championship team in 1977.  Julie would go on to play at UW-River Falls, where she earned the Falcon Spirit Award as a senior.  

Mike Murphy, Class of 1989 - Mike is the all-time assist leader in Mineral Point boys basketball history with 461 career assists.  He also ranks third in career charges with 28.  A four-year varsity player, Mike was named second team all-conference as a junior and first team as a senior in the SWAL.  He helped to guide the Pointers to two regional titles and a conference title.  


Rilee (Schmitz) Hammer, Class of 2010 - Rilee was a two-time all-conference performer, Dodgeville Chronicle co-player of the year in 2010, and a WBCA All-Star.  She was named Wisconsin State Journal all-area honorable mention in 2008-09 and earned Wisconsin State Journal first team honors for the 2009-10 season.  During her career, Rilee scored 687 points, had 267 rebounds, 222 assists, and 180 steals.  Rilee played college basketball at UW-Platteville.
