A thrilling conference matchup at Ron Murphy Field delivered a classic stalemate as Dodge Point Soccer Action fought to a hard-earned 1–1 draw against the Richland Center Hornets in a true once-in-a-season thriller.

Dodge Point set the tone early, striking first at the 24:11 mark of the first half. Mineral Point's Tyce Sylvester converted off the setup from Dodgeville's Gael Hernandez Cardoso to put Dodge Point up 1–0.

The Dodge Point defense, backed by a stellar performance from keeper Carter Reed, kept Richland Center off the board throughout the opening half. Reed was dominant in front of the net all night, racking up 10 saves to keep Dodge Point in control.

Richland Center managed to break through late in the second half, capitalizing on a penalty kick at the 76:27 mark to knot the score at 1–1. Neither side could find a late-game winner, and the physical contest ended in a draw.

Despite the late equalizer, the result capped off a milestone for the Dodge Point Boys Soccer program. Head Coach Andy Weber noted, "This was the first time in four years that both the JV and Varsity teams did not lose a game to Richland Center throughout the whole season."
